Covid

In our essays this month, we share how are our lives have been touched by Covid, beginning with our mother’s death in March, when her nursing home went into lockdown. We discover daily, in big and small ways, we can’t always go where our hearts yearn to be and yet, we also find comfort in what surrounds us. We’re coping, but some days it’s hard. We hope you see yourselves in our stories, and maybe draw some inspiration, too, as we journey together through this new world. Please also check out our parlor discussion, in which we speak a bit more about specific challenges and even find some things to laugh about. Because, well, that’s how we Barretts (and Keoughs) roll!
